Wreaths
Each year around October, after the main growing season winds down, we switch gears into a slower pace and spend time among the trees, in meadows and forests. In these forays, we're appreciating the abundant natural world and looking for beautiful elements to incorporate in wreaths, swags and centerpieces. These pops of color, texture and intrigue help us make one-of-a-kind holiday decorations that you, your friends and family can enjoy during the colder months spanning late fall and winter in the Pacific Northwest. Each wreath is uniquely handcrafted using elements from the Maxwelton Valley and harvested from our coppiced Christmas tree patch, where trees and branches are trimmed off a few feet above the ground to regrow year after year. We've been making wreaths on Whidbey since 2009. Our wreaths are as fresh as they come, and make to last well beyond the holidays. We recommend hanging your wreath outside, out of direct light, and "watering" your wreath by laying it on the grass (face up) overnight in the rain once a week to retain it's vibrant color.
